Scott Lankford is the president of Lankford Design Group (LDG) in Traverse City. He founded the company in 1999. He is a graduate of Minneapolis College of Art and Design where he earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial design. While attending college, he worked as a product designer. Lankford also offers a full range of commercial design for businesses that want to integrate their company’s brand into every aspect of their business interior and want a space that works efficiently, effectively and has a positive impact on customers and employees. Originally from Chicago, Lankford lived in Wisconsin and Minnesota before moving to Michigan. He and his wife, Melinda, and son, Jack, live in the historic Boardman neighborhood near downtown Traverse City.Ask Scott:

Landscape Logic
Scott Philp has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Michigan State University. He is also a state-certified pesticide applicator, and a member of the Michigan Green Industry Association, and the Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association. Philp uses these professional memberships to stay on the leading edge of evolving trends in the landscape industry. He believes that education is extremely important in providing the best service and product available. Philp is the owner of Landscape Logic, a Charlevoix-based company serving all of Northern Michigan. He uses his extensive background in horticulture and stone construction to create truly unique outdoor spaces for his clients.
